[COMPLETED W/ BRIC ARCHITECTURE] This project is a significant extension to a 2000 building that eases overcrowding and significantly increases the capacity of the existing school. Lacking a flat site and easy points of connection to the original building, the new design adds a complement building, curved, and built into the hillside. The new and existing buildings are linked below grade. The extension hosts a blend of elements including academic, athletic, special needs, and commons spaces. It contains 20 classrooms, areas to support special education, career technical education spaces and a new commons. The result is a flexible and durable learning environment aligned with the district’s vision and goals.
